One of the oldest photographs documenting the history of the town of Mohelnice Print E-mail
ziegler-muglitz-1897Employees of The Edmund Ziegler’s First Moravian- Silesian Factory for Bone and Artificial Bone Goods. Mohelnice/Müglitz, 1899.

In the center there are sons of the owner - Otmar (3,5 years) and Erwin (9 years). Zieglers were Jewish. In 1930s Otmar became the director of a bank in Berlin, during WWII he was an officer of RAF in England. Erwin was murdered on 23.12.1944 in Buchenwald. Erwin’s son Edgar donated this photograph to RT Foundation in July 2011. Dr. Edgar Ziegler lives in Canada and in July 2011 he celebrated his 92nd birthday.
