His father Leopold Löwy owned the house #XXVI which still exists (presently #159 Nerudova Street). His grandparents, great grandparents and their families used to live in Úsov since 1716. Most of them are resting in the local Jewish cemetery. His daughter Ida, born March 20, 1877 in Budapest, married in 1900 Fritz Kohn. Mr. Kohn changed his name to Frederic Kerry, converted to Catholic faith and moved to the USA.
